Arena Manager Position / Treetop Adventure Course
The Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Ice Arena & the Treetop Adventure course. The position is responsible for assisting with all staffing and operations.
Priorities include but are not limited to assisting with scheduling all ice time, facility upkeep, staff schedules, special event sales, and selling or programming ice. This is currently forecasted as a part-time position. Flexibility to transition from a part-time to full-time position is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with the staffing including scheduling and hiring of seasonal staff.
- Hire, supervise, train, evaluate and discipline all related full-time and part-time staff
- Prepare and implement related employee work schedules to make sure facility is staffed properly for days & events
- Oversees and manages scheduling and sales of all ice time. Experience with facility scheduling and employee scheduling strongly preferred.
- Responsible for operational budget; reviews and approves expenses, employee staffing, etc.
- Coordinates the purchasing needs of the arena and treetop, monitoring and tracking usage of all materials, equipment, and supplies
- Coordinates the inspections and repairs as required at the Treetop Adventure Course.
- Manages banking deposits, invoice payments, closeouts
- At least 3-5 years of facility management experience
- Strong communication skills, particularly oral communication with customers
- Anticipates and effectively handles change; demonstrates willingness to try new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions
- Ability to work late evenings and weekends is required
- Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Required to work during weather emergencies and at heights.
- Knowledge of ISI and or USFSA programs and levels preferred
- Familiarity with the ACCT Operations Standards and/or ability to pass training as related to the ACCT Operations Standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Email, Word, etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director/General Manager
