PADDLE BOATS
The Paddle boat launch is located on the shore of the Orange Reservoir. Paddle boating is available seasonally for a fee. Children under 2 years old and pets are not permitted on paddle boats. Please notice that the paddle boats will not operate in certain weather conditions for the safety of our guests, such as high winds, heavy rainfall, thunder and lighting, etc.

NOTE:
- All boaters must wear life jackets
- All boaters 12 years old or younger MUST be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
- Children under 2 years old and pets are not permitted on paddle boats.
REGATTA PLAYGROUND
The Children’s Regatta Playground is the newest addition to the South Mountain Recreation Complex. Inspired by the nearby reservoir, it features a wave-like rubberized safety surface and a series of play equipment designed to look like boats. A large open area with a synthetic grass surface and stamped concrete pathways link the playground to the nearby Clipper Pavilion picnic area and paddle boat launch.
Opened to the public in May 2014, the 1.7 mile Reservoir Walking Path provides access to the Orange Reservoir, enhances access to several trails leading through South Mountain Reservation, and is handicap accessible.
