Due to severe weather, we are moving BARKtoberfest to Sunday, October 28th. Please update your calendars and join us from 11am to 3pm to support our local animal rescue groups. Adoptable cats and dogs, vendors, and food trucks will all be present. Existing pets welcome!

BARKtoberfest, Pet Adoption Event at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo will be held on Saturday, October 27th from 11am – 3pm. Come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens while supporting local animals shelters and rescue groups. The day’s events will feature a Pet Photo Booth and Costume Contest, animal enrichment and education, vendor booths, food trucks and more!
Event is held in the parking lot of the Education Center. No Zoo Admission necessary.
