Located between the Essex Farm and Australian Outback, the zoo’s playground is a fun place for children to explore the prehistoric world through outdoor play! PREHISTORIC PLAYGROUND The zoo’s miniature train ride takes visitors through the beautiful South Mountain Reservation and returns to the zoo. Turtle Back Junction Visitors of all ages can take a spin on our endangered species carousel.
