Turtle Back Zoo is an amazing classroom!
Turtle Back Zoo’s Homeschool Days offer homeschooled students an opportunity to participate in animal and conservation themed programs and projects that facilitate scientific literacy and life-long environmental stewardship. Available to students ages 8-11. The program includes a visit into the Zoo as weather permits and an animal presentation.
Session 1, February 19: Evolution, Classification, and Biological Diversity
Session 2, March 18: Ecosystems, Habitats, and Interactions
Session 3, April 22: Life Strategies
Session 4, May 20: Being Better Stewards of the Earth

Drop-off is at the Berson Education Center as early as 9:50am; the program begins promptly at 10am. Pick-up time is at 12:30pm; late pick-ups after 12:30pm will incur a fee of $10 for every 15 minutes late. Please make sure that your child has a refillable water bottle and is comfortably dressed to spend time outside. We will go outside, rain or shine or snow, unless there is thunder or lightning.
