All tours begin at 12 pm. $35/ zoo members; $45 general admission. Registration must be made in advance online.
Ticket includes:
- 30 – 45 minute Behind the Scenes Tour
- Meet and greet the Sea Lion Keeper
- Admission to the zoo for the day (for non-Zoological Society members)
Get fishy and travel behind the scenes of Sea Lion Sound at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo to see the indoor abode of our California Sea Lions. You’ll meet with Keepers, learn about the daily routine of prepping food and Sea Lion training, and discover how much work it takes to maintain this terrific habitat. This experience will be offered during the spring and early summer season for 2017.
Attendees must be 8 years old or over. Group sizes are limited to 8 people. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear; some locations may have a wet floor or you may be inadvertently splashed.
