Event Details
A unique look at the zoo and its nocturnal animal collection, Night Moves gives you a guided evening tour of zoo exhibits where you will learn about different animal senses and adaptations.
Please arrive at the Zoo’s Main Gate at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Tours leave every 10 minutes starting at 7:30pm; the last tour leaves at approximately 8:10pm. Gates close at 8:15pm. The departure of your ticketed tour time may vary slightly. Tours last approximately 1 hour.
You are seeing the zoo at night. To help with your safety, we encourage you to bring your own flashlight and wear appropriate footwear. There is no flash photography.
As a benefit of being an Essex County Turtle Back Zoo Member, discount codes for Night Moves tours are available upon request. Discount codes only cover the people listed on your membership. You will be asked to show your membership ID. Reciprocal Zoo Memberships are not eligible for this program. Call #973-731-5800 x241 to request the current discount code.
Refund Policy
Cancellations may be made up to 7 days prior to the originally scheduled tour date and time; no refunds will be offered less than 7 days prior to the originally scheduled tour date and time.
Weather Policy
In the case of extreme weather, tour cancellations will be called by 12pm noon the day of your tour. Full refunds will be given if you are unable to transfer to another date.
