This Friday, June 16th, stop by our AAZK table from 11am-3pm in front of the Sea Turtle Recovery building to learn more about sea turtles and local turtle species! We will be raising money to donate directly to Sea Turtle Recovery (STR), a non-profit organization which takes in and rehabilitates sea turtles right here in Turtle Back Zoo! They provide medicine, food, and treatments until the sea turtles are ready to be released back into the ocean, as well as raise awareness and educate the public about sea turtles. We will also be handing out brochures with information about local New Jersey turtle species and how you can protect them.
If you want to celebrate World Sea Turtle Day even more make sure to attend the dance takeover hosted by STR at Turtle Back Zoo after hours from 6-8pm for $10 per person!
