The following Purchase Policies are designed to ensure your understanding of, and satisfaction with, the purchase process on turtlebackzoo.com.
By purchasing tickets or reserving event/class admission through turtlebackzoo.com, you are agreeing to be bound by these policies. These purchase policies may change at any time, and such changes shall be effective upon posting. By using this site you agree to be bound by such changes when they take place.

Purchase Policies:

Tickets and event/class reservations purchased through turtlebackzoo.com are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. In the case of an event cancellation, Essex County Turtle Back Zoo shall use reasonable efforts to ensure you receive a prompt refund of the face value of your purchase.

Please contact us for information regarding receiving your refund. If an event is modified, moved or rescheduled, Essex County Turtle Back Zoo reserves the right to set refund limitations. When a refund is available, it will be processed back to the original card used to purchase.

Turtlebackzoo.com accepts the following forms of payment: MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover. Cash, check and purchase orders can only be accepted in person at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo’s Guest Services Office.
Your purchase will be followed by a confirmation via email. This confirmation email itself is not your ticket. All attached documents (tickets.pdf) within the confirmation email serve as the purchaser’s admission tickets. Lost or damaged tickets may be recovered at specified ticket windows if provided with the order confirmation number from the purchaser’s confirmation email. Picture identification may be required to complete this recovery.
